 1.   What is note taking?
 
-         Writing down ideas from lecturer and reading in our own words.
(It’s not like copying but refleasing)
 

2.   Why takes note?
 
-          pay attention in class 
-         always study for quiz or test 
-         improve our memory 
-         ownership of ideas 
-         engage our senses 
-         organize, process data and information
3.   Why review notes? 
-         We will lose 80% of what we hear in class if we not reviews within few hours. 
-      Identify any questions whether past questions or example questions for peers 
-     There is no enough time for us 
-         Always think, “If I were testing by the lecturer, can I answer it without notes?” 

4.   Why recapture note after class?
 
-         Fees you up to write in quick g
-         An excellent text prep strategy 
-         Better than re-copying 

5.   Before class we should…
 
-         Review the notes so we can easy to remember and answer if lecturer ask us 
-         Review you reading assignment many times 
-         Make sure you have 
-         Write the date so we can review it easily 
-         Leave spaces between line to take notes later 

6.   Physical factors
 
-         Seating                      : near the front and centre                                                                                 
                                                             : better vision                 
                                       : better hearing 
-         Avoid distraction       : peers 
7.   How do we take notes 
-         Date and label notes 
-         Give ourselves space to write 
-         We abbreviations and symbols 
-         Use an outline 
8.   How do prepare for class? 
-         Pre-reading and homework 
-         Syllabus 
-         Previous notes 
-         Key words 
-         Listening 80% 

9.   While taking notes…
 
-         Be an aggressive (ask question and discuss) 

10.    Mood of lecturer
 
-         Observation is the key


11.  Contents-         Preparing and reviewing before the lecturer starts
12.  What happens when you conductor isn’t too interesting.- The student will getting bored
